Happy Hanukkah

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah.  Jonathan and I are so excited to celebrate this holiday and pass on this family tradition to Haidyn.  As an added bonus, my cousin Amanda and her boyfriend Steve joined us for dinner.  It was a fun evening!

 Some of Haidyn’s Hanukkah gifts.  I wasn’t really sure where to put them, but I didn’t think under the Christmas tree was appropriate!  We’re working out the details of celebrating two holidays at once around here. I love this Noah’s Ark menorah I found for Haidyn at Target.  The only problem is that the wooden candles have glitter all over them, and she like to put them in her mouth.  Maybe next year… Posing with Daddy by the menorah An attempt at a family picture with the menorah Our little Hanukkah miracle!
