The week after Father’s Day, Haidyn and I headed to Bartlesville to help my dad start packing up the house. He has been talking about selling his house for a few months but got serious about it this summer. It sold in 4 days! Not surprising if you know how my mom decorated – the house is absolutely gorgeous – but still put him on “go” to get everything in order, packed, find a new house, etc. God is definitely good, though, and he found another wonderful house in the same neighborhood – even a few houses down from his best friends. My mom’s two sisters, Mary and Carole, came to help. Mary brought Uncle Al and James, my cousin’s son, with her. I still can’t believe how much we accomplished, and we definitely couldn’t have done it without their help. We packed over 100 boxes!
James was so incredibly sweet with Haidyn and kept her entertained. We love him!
Haidyn meeting Aunt Mary for the first time. Mary and Alison bought her this darling outfit.
Haidyn also got to meet Uncle Al for the first time
Megan and Karsten stopped by that evening to see us. Karsten showed us his new-found crawling skills…so cute!
Hanging out with Aunt Carole
Checking out the rooster. As James said, “Aunt Suz must’ve really liked those chickens!”
One evening we went to Owasso to go swimming. This floaty from Aunt SES was a big hit. Haidyn just floated around the baby pool like she owned the place.
Miss Emmie enjoyed helping Haidyn around the pool.
Enjoying more time with Aunt Carole
This is the life!
Grandpa helping her stand…check out the tongue. Too funny!
